Heliconia Earrings w/ Mookaite

I am inspired by the beauty of my surroundings.  I am blessed to live where these amazing flowers grow year round.  These earrings are also inspired by where I came from; the Southwest.  The tops of these post earings are re-worked Southwestern sterling buttons.    Depicted in brillaint natural red and yellow Mookaite from Australia, the heliconias are connected to the dangle with double jump rings, allowing the dangles to swing without twisting.  Each stone in the heliconias has been especially chosen for color and pattern to create a realistic depiction of these gorgeous natural treasures.  With 14k ball accents.
