"Dia de los Muertos" with Brass Rays

Another in my cherished line of "Day of the Dead" jewelry featuring hand-cut, carved and scrimshawed fossil ivory skulls.  I love the colorful celebrations of Dia de Los Muertos, celebrating the dead with festively decorated sugar skulls and lovingly adorned altars.  This pendant is also reminiscent of depictions of the Virgin de Guadalupe, with brass rays radiating like an aura.
